BUILDING CONFIDENCE, CURIOSITY AND COMMUNITY
Casa PROGRAM 2.5 years — 6 years old

This program emphasizes the development of independence, critical thinking, and social skills, allowing young learners to engage with Montessori materials developed to inspire exploration and discovery.
The Casa Program is designed to ignite a child’s natural curiosity and joy for learning, providing a nurturing environment where children thrive, develop confidence, and build essential skills for future academic success.
In the classroom, experienced teachers guide students through a robust curriculum that supports cognitive, emotional, and social growth. Our mixed-age classrooms foster collaborative learning, mentorship, and a sense of community, where younger children learn from their older peers and older students reinforce and expand their own knowledge by guiding others.

Promoting Independence
The Casa Program provides a comprehensive curriculum that supports children in becoming thoughtful, independent lifelong learners. Each component of the program is carefully crafted to enhance their cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.
Practical Life Skills
The foundation for all other curriculum areas, activities from the Practical Life area emphasize essential life skills, such as self-care, care for the environment, and social grace and courtesy, instilling students with confidence and responsibility.
Sensorial Development
Children engage with Montessori materials to explore size, shape, colour, texture, taste, and sound, helping them to refine their senses and cognitive abilities.
Language Development
A strong focus is placed on building oral language skills, listening, writing, and early reading comprehension. These activities prepare children for expressive and receptive communication.
Mathematics
Through Montessori math materials, children learn counting, numeracy, and basic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, establishing strong math foundational skills and critical thinking and reasoning skills.
Cultural Studies
Students enjoy learning about geography, history, botany, zoology, and basic scientific principles, encouraging them to explore the world around them and fostering an early appreciation for various subjects and an appreciation for the world's many cultures and peoples.
