MUSIC

Music and the Arts are a very important aspect of our society.  It allows us to express our feelings, record  historical events, and learn more about ourselves and other societies.  AMS ensures the student is given the opportunity to discover how music affects us through listening, discussion, and play.

We pride ourselves in using quality manufactured instruments for our band such as Yamaha products.  The student learns responsibility by caring for and learning about their instrument.  We use a variety of brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments.

The music room is spacious and brightened with natural sunlight.  New sound equipment has been added to enhance the children's choir voices and instrumental accomplishments.  A recently purchased mobile electric piano allows accompaniment anywhere in the school that we may choose to perform.
