An Introduction

The Aurora Montessori School (AMS) has been offering excellence in education for 20 years for children 18 months to grade 8. Our Staff understand and then educate children's unique capabilities and human potential, producing responsible, self-directed learners and critical thinkers. A multitude of special interest clubs, Spring and Summer Camps and Before and After School Programmes are just some of the enhancements that make our school unique.

Camp Monty Summer Camp at AMS

Camp Monty Summer Camp at AMS
Download our Camp Monty information here! AMS offers exciting, interactive programs for the summer, for children ages 18 months to 14 years. Junior and Senior Adventure Camp, and Rock Band Camp are available with exciting weekly themes. For campers 3 years and older, we will be offering Red Cross-certified swimming instruction at the nearby Aurora Leisure Centre during 7 focus weeks in July and August. Read More

Dear Ms. Brenda Glashan,

I hope the New Year is treating you well!

I suspect this does not happen often, as I would suspect you are usually contacted when there is an issue or concern, however, this is the complete opposite.I would like to thank you and all of the staff at Aurora Montessori School (AMS) for providing such an exceptional learning environment for the kids. All of the teachers you have at AMS are wonderful and you have done a great job in the selection process.

As you know, during the school year the teachers spend more time with the kids than we do as parents, so it is always comforting to know they are in good hands.

On behalf of my family, I would like to take this opportunity to specifically recognize two exceptional teachers:

1. Miss Alyson Sarabun

2: Miss Shelley Black

They are both incredible people! My daughter and son have developed so nicely over the years; it is truly amazing to see their progress and development.

I truly tip my hat off to both of these ladies; it only makes our decisions as parents easier knowing we have picked such a great school with teachers that care for the development and well-being of the kids.

I would encourage you to share this note with both, as they are truly unsung heroes in our books. Looking forward to their return in 2012-2013.
